BEHIND THE ARTIFACT
"The plausibility of exploring intentionality of events through constituted artifacts that merges inert azoic with the preservation of the spiritless."
A Sound of Thunder is a meditation on intent and the possibility to transcend time and space; the acceptance of life as an infinite process and not as a result through artifacts that combine that which no longer lives with that which never will.
Created by two artists whom, in their attempt to create unique artifacts that could express their fondness of nature and magic, decided to use coleoptera instead of jewels.
The beetles are given a special treatment to avoid breakage and ensure their resilience in everyday use.
Any inconsistencies in form or pigment are expected and should not be considered a defect.
Every piece is hand-made in Mexico.
